Open Question: Will the average record company accept self produced music to satisfy a contract?

If I have already landed a record contract. I ask because I'm a currently unsigned, but touring leader of my band. (Yep, the hard way, no loans. Just my blood sweat and tears) If I record and produce a CD in my own studio, would it be sufficient to satisfy the average record deal? What Quality of recording are we talking about needing, and is it required to make some sort of vinyl master? All I can produce is high quality CD's or digital files, so do I need more equipment? If so, what? The point is to cut out the huge investment in wanky studio techs. I had to re-post this question due to a misunderstanding by readers. It relates to already having a contract, and filling my album quota by using my own studio instead of paying 800 bucks per song.

Open Question: What do I need to do to start recording music?

1) I have a band started and also a solo project for myself... I have a PreSonus Audiobox USB and a Xenyx 802 Mixer and I'm planning to get a Mac and Synthesizer.. I want to make Alternative music for the band with some synthesized music such as influences from Muse and Phoenix. And i am planning to put DUBSTEP and TECHNO mixed in to the music, and I'm also planning to make pop and hip-hop music as a solo project, but I do not know what kind of synthesizer, studio software, and equipment I should get for this type of music... 2) Plus since I have an Pre Sonus audio box is it compatible to work on any software cause I am thinking of using Logic Pro or Garageband as studio software and I'm wondering if it will work on either of them.. thanks for any answers!
