It’s been 8 days since I attended a concert my friend invited me to. Didn’t really want to go but she had already invited me 2 times before so I went - not even my style of music. I regret not wearing earplugs either. I’m so upset since I’m not one to go to concerts anyway and now I’m stuck with ears that seem plugged and the left ear has a slight ringing in it. Also seems that I am much more sensitive now to high-pitched frequencies like the television signal. I have read that most people’s ringing after concerts goes away the next day or two but it’s now already 8 days since, and although it seems to be less intense, it’s still there and my ears still feel a bit heavy and sore. I’m so worried this will be permanent. I am a musician as well (pianist/singer) and my hearing has always been very acute. Is there someone out there that could give me realistic yet hopeful opinion on my situation? I’m already so scared - I hope this ringing and heaviness won’t be permanent. Thank u

Open Question: How Can I fix the Audio On my computer?
I used some kind of computer cleaner on my computer, and it wiped out the audio. I have found the problem I just need a free and easy system to fix it with. the only audio it makes is when something pops up, telling me something about the computer. Witch is really only beeps, and pings. And I am a musician that uses my computer for a music studio, so if anyone knows a free and easy sound fix that would be great!

Open Question: writing songs?
i know this question will make me look like a loser to those musicians who can write music like nothing but i am having lots of trouble writing even one song. ive never written a song before but i know quite a bit about music. anyways ive been trying for months to write a song (please dont give me advice like “youve been trying to hard give it a break and something will come to you” cuz ive tried that)
i play keyboard very well and can figure things out on other instruments…not much of a singer but i can if i have to.
i dont need advice like whether i should write the lyrics, chords, or melody first, i just would like to know how you got started on your first song. thanks for any advice you can give me!
