I’m sure you can relate to embarrasment, and humilition at one time in your life. As an amateur musician - imagine if you seriously recorded a demo or a song in an attempt to find a band, or other musician’s to network with, however the video was ridiculed or laughed at. Definitelty not a good experience. It happens. Move on!

It’s almost a given: karaoke and reality singing contests plus every Youtube clone out there have the tendency to turn out videos that are horrendously amateurish and poorly executed. These things all too often look and sound worse than jellied meats. However, FanCovers aims to redeem the amateur singing crowd by allowing budding artists share their works, which are more or less serious attempts. The site’s main goal is to have amateur musicians upload their covers of their favorite artists’ songs. Videos are tagged by instruments used rather than standard keywords are they may be embedded into other websites and blogs. Each video also displays the number of views it’s gotten. Amateur musicians of all ages may join for free.
