Social Discography is here!

Imagine a site with discographies of all labels, all artists, all cross-referenced. Then welcome to Discogs
(Discogs is short for “Discographies”, which are lists of an artist’s or label’s recordings.)

Discogs is a community built database of music information that is constantly growing as users add releases to the database. You can search for information about music and help build the database by submitting information that is not here yet.

With a Discogs Account you can personalize parts of the site, and track your collection and wantlist of music. Discogs also offers forums for discussing music, and there is also a marketplace section where users can buy and sell items as private sales.

You won;t find any MP3’s here, but if you’re trying to locate a particular song title from a particular artist’s album, this is the place. Alternatively, wikipedia also works, but it is not as concise and to the point.
