I've been singing since I was about 10 but I got really into it when I was 12. The thing is, I was never any good. like I didn't make it for chorus in the 5th grade. bc I couldn't go high enough. However, I was told that I had a guaranteed a spot next year. I had also done a karaoke thing with my friend and everyone loved us and were chanting our names. Then around Christmas I had several duets in the town chorus. When I was 12, I record myself singing just about everyday afterschool and during the summer. I sucked, and I knew it. My sister would often tell me I couldn't sing and others put me down. I am now almost 16 and over the summer I've been improving. My cousin had told me that I really got alot better and my younger cousins love my voice. my friend also told me that I was pretty decent. Then when I went to disneyworld, I was gonna audition for american idol. I was practicing when I could hear one of my cousins making very rude comments. Those comment hurt so bad. He said things like "She's gonna embarrass herself in front of all those ppl",etc. and when I approached him, he asked if I was auditioning. I told him no...and he replyed "THANK YOU". I was soo hurt. But I refuse to give up. So i practiced more and more and watched videos,read tips, etc. I prayed and everything lmao. And I even write songs. The lyrics are pretty good actually.. and I could even post a song if you want. Now, my sister came to me and even said that her friend is a rapper and needs a singer for his hook and she recommended me. And he even told me after she caught me singing to myself that I wasn't bad at all and that was actually really good. My cousin who's about the same age(Yummy) believes that our voices sound great together. And even when my brother tried to make fun of my voice, Yummy's little brother defended me and said that he heard me and yummy singing and he's normally one that makes fun. Sorry that was long, but here's the deal. I am soo 100% absolutely sure of what I want to do with my life. I used to wonder what my purpose was and what I was destined for and there's no doubt in my mind that this is what I want. Making music videos, performing for thousands of peoples. Getting in the recording studio. Yes I even recognize the bad parts, waking up super early, having barely any sleep, having to set an image, people might not have the best intentions for me. I get it that the business can be cold. & that I have tio build my way up, starting from dirt. But I know that god has put me through a test. He told me that I had to earn a voice, that I had to triumph over people's words and show them that I am capable of anything I set my heart to. and all this almost makes me cry because I really have come a long way and I now know that there is something I was made to do & love to do but I'm not there yet and now nothing else matters much. The only thing is .... I don't know where to start. This is more than a dream, it's a goal.

I want to get the idea which way of recording is highest in quality and professional when we want to record and produce a music album in a home studio by using arranger and workstation keyboards.

well when i use camtasia studio 7 in a game unless its the exact resolution of my screen it records some of the desktop. Is their anyway to make it auto fit for games? Im using fraps but it takes so long to convert.

I need to know what the best music editing and recording software is. It HAS to be professional though. Money is not an option... And I don't mean that to sound like I am spoiled or anything, but it honestly has to be the best. Pretty much like "Final Cut Studios" but for music editing rather than movie editing. Preferably software for Mac, but PCs would work as well.

i barely started to write music and i want to record it...im not tryin to spend over 2k right now

My band and I finally decided to release a demo, we want to record around 4-5 songs. Originally we were going to be in the studio for 12 hours, but the dude running it suggested we do 6 hours as it's our first time. I'm just wondering to anyone who may have recorded before, how long do you need in the studio roughly to record 4-5 songs? Thanks.

i am a huge fan of marilyn manson i don't know if you have heard of him but he is my Inspiration in everything, i have studied the piano almost my whole life trying to perfect myself and i am very proud to say that im insane lol basically very talented. as you know the roland fantom g8 is like 3500 dollars and the money is not a concern i just want to know if it can make professional sounding music like Marilyn Manson's or any band by recording from the many HQ sounding instrument selections it has to offer. i want to try to get a record deal with this key bored and it may sound crazy but the thing......... it is so amazing and it functions like a studio and does everything a man can do with a guitar but it takes alot of knowledge and i am willing to study deep into it. so please do think it is possible and is this instument good enough if not is there somthing beter please help me i love music it is my life. plus im probably gonna get a guitar and learn that to i am so dedicated to music i even dropped out of high school and did homeschooling i was a ninth grader and with hard long dedication to my studies within 1 year i am now in the 11nth grade im trying to finish so i can focus on my carrer and on trying to get a record deal thank you for all your time and help i look forward to making you all happy and bringing more shock rock to the world.

So I have this app on my iphone (I Am T-Pain) I use it as a mini recording studio xD lol Anyways, does this app work kinda sorta work like a real recording mic? Does it like.. Show your real voice like most mics? Oh, and when i record, i use the iphone headphones with the mic because they say its best quality
