Open Question: acoustic home recording studio treatment for corners?

What are some home made acoustic things that can be used to put in the upper corners of the room?

Open Question: Music audition for college. What should I do to prepare?

I might decide to do music as a second major because I am interested in performing and producing music. My university doesn't really focus on jazz and classical its more contemporary, focusing on today's music industry. I just want to sing and/or play the guitar/keyboard and produce music. I would say my singing is good. I don't have a big amazing voice like whitney houston, aretha, etc. but more of a low husky breathy voice like Imogen heap, if you've heard of her. I can't belt out super high notes, but I can do a good falsetto. I'm more into alternative and pop music, experimenting with fusing different genres of music to create a unique sound. I usually use synths and record my music with a midi keyboard in my room. I have never actually recorded a full song with actual instruments other than midi and vocals because I'm only 17, so I can't really afford any expensive pro equipment or studio time. I am quite good at guitar, but I sound better and I'm a lot more comfortable when I am singing and playing rather than just playing the guitar. I'm afraid if I go into the audition and just sing or just play the guitar I might not be good enough. What exactly do the interviewers look for in an audition? I really want to learn how to perform, write and produce music. With what basic knowledge I have of recording and producing, I love doing it and it makes me so happy when I am satisfied with the final mix. I still don't know if I should do this or just continue to let it be just a thing I do in my free time :( so sorry if this was too long!

Open Question: How do I fix volume on my Pinnacle Studio 12?

When I tried voice rec ording on the program, everything with volume in the program did not project volume from recording videos to recorded videos. How do I fix this?

Open Question: What’s the name of this music video?

I don't remember much but it was sort of low budget and filmed in a dance studio with a mirrored wall and ballet bars. There were 6 people in the video: 2 wearing suits and president masks, 3 female cheerleaders with face paint, and 1 person with red(?) shorts and a gold cape. The camera never cut away and they did a series of cheesy dance moves. Towards the end of the video they were throwing confetti around. The best way I can describe the music is sort of dance rock. Reminded me of !!! or MGMT or something. Never heard anything like it before. I had never heard of the record label they were on. The name of the band was 2 words long I think. Any help or guesses are much appreciated!

Open Question: Setting up different tracks for recording drums?

I have an electronic drum kit in my home studio, and would like to set up different tracks via Acoustica Mixcraft and have no idea how. I would like to set up a track for each pad: snare, kick, the three toms, hi hat, crash, and ride. The only thing I know to do is have the output go to the input on my mixer and have a single channel for it, but I would like to be able to go into further depth with mixing the drums. The kit is the Roland HD-1. It has a midi out, if that helps. I don't know much at all about midi, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I also have a Behringer 12 channel mixer, if necessary. Thank you (:

Open Question: Hanoi Rocks BBC Session 1984: are these tracks on other Hanoi CDs?
